Piney Creek is a very active tennis community. There are eight (8) tennis courts, six (6) of them with lighting.
The Piney Creek Recreational Association has engaged Tennis Academy of Colorado to provide lessons and manage the tennis program. Tennis programs and lessons provided by TAC are listed on their website.
Tennis Court Rules and Information
Operating Hours and Access 
  1. Gates will be locked from 10 pm to 6 am, and may be locked when there is snow on the courts. Members will need a key card to access the tennis courts. Key cards may be obtained from the Community Manager at the clubhouse office.
  2. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult resident.
  3. All guests must be accompanied by an adult resident.
  4. Lighted courts will be open until 10:00 p.m., seven days a week.
Reservation Procedures 
  1. Courts may be reserved only for one hour increments per person per day, made on the hour – from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
  2. Court reservation sheets are posted on the tennis bulletin board outside the clubhouse every Monday morning. Beginning each Monday, reservations may be made through the upcoming Sunday.
  3. Singles matches may reserve one (1) court for 1½ hours total. Doubles matches may reserve one (1) court for 2 hours total.
  4. Non-reserved court time (in season) and out of season play is on a first come first play basis.
  5. Anyone 15 minutes late for their reservation time will lose that hour of court time to anyone who may be waiting to play.Scheduled tennis programs, including USTA and CTA matches, have priority over open play.
Lessons are allowed for Piney Creek residents only.
Lessons are provided by Tennis Academy of Colorado.
Ryan Freeman
Homeowners may also  coordinate their own private lessons with their own instructor.  The instructor will be a guest of the resident.
