The 4th of July parade has been a Piney Creek tradition since the development of the Piney Creek neighborhood in the mid-1980s. Led by a truck from the South Metro Fire Rescue, a large stream of decorated bicycles, dune buggies, classic and antique vehicles, and walkers in patriotic garb make their way past the parade watchers to the Piney Creek park.
