Food Truck Nights!!!

 

We are excited to announce our new partnership with Hand to Mouth Food Truck Organizing, resulting in new food truck nights for the community! So what exactly is a food truck night? Well, throughout this spring/summer, there will be several evenings during which food trucks (3 savory/entrée trucks and 1 sweets/dessert truck) will be on hand in the western park parking lot. The food trucks that show up will vary each time.

 

Homeowners are encouraged to come down and purchase dinner and/or dessert from these trucks. We suggest making a fun evening of it. Bring the entire family down, enjoy dinner in the park, under the gazebos, etc., let your children play on the playgrounds, and engage your fellow Piney Creek neighbors in lively conversation. It is truly our hope that this partnership will create support for these local food truck businesses, as well as an open environment perfect for community building and neighbor interaction!

All of our food truck nights for this year are scheduled on Monday evenings. The food trucks will be serving food from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The following is a list of the dates for this year’s food truck nights:

• May 1
• May 15
• June 5
• June 19
• July 17
• August 7
• August 21
• September 4

Please note that weather may impact these events. If the food trucks arrive and there are heavy rains and/or thunderstorms, they will wait 30 to 45 minutes, in an effort to allow the storm to pass. After that, however, they may choose to leave for the evening.
