The annual Smoky Hill Homecoming parade will be happening in our neighbor on September 12th.
At 4:30PM on SHHS will be running their homecoming parade through the Piney Creek neighborhood. The routes will be starting at the high school, head South on Laredo, East on Crestline Ave., and North on Progress Dr.
The parade is scheduled to start at 4:30pm, and will take about 30 minutes to run the route, including the student cleanup effort, “bringing up the rear”. The City of Centennial will be providing traffic control, and once the end of the parade has past the affected areas, the roads will be open to traffic.
If you have any questions or concerns you may contact the City of Centennial department of public safety for your traffic related questions or concerns. You can contact the Smoky Hill high school Activities Office for any parade related questions. The school has all the proper permits to have this parade take place.
In the past Piney Creek has hosted several SHHS events for tennis and DECA. These activities groups have been great guests, and that is why the HOA is always welcoming to their requests. We expect, without any equivocation, that the Homecoming parade will have a similar outcome.
