Unfortunately with all the guidelines and restrictions surrounding COVID-19 the PCCL has made the hard decision to cancel the annual 4th of July Parade and Picnic.   We know this is a treasured and much anticipated community event and we cannot wait to come back in 2021 and celebrate!!

  

In lieu of our traditional event we are encouraging our community to celebrate and honor Piney Creek’s longest standing tradition in new and creative ways.  A few ideas could be immediate neighbors coming together to have a small parade up and down your own street or choosing to spend the evening in your front yard bbqing and listening to music.  You could decorate your car patriotically and drive around the neighborhood or place flags in your front yard to create a flag scavenger hunt for families to find walking around the neighborhood.  We know that Piney Creek is an amazing place to live and know that we can still celebrate together and build this great community while practicing social distancing and being creative as neighbors until we can come together again.
