Now that winter has arrived, we want to take a moment to remind everyone to please play it safe around the pond.  There have been recent reports of people trying to stand on the frozen edges of the Piney Creek pond, which could have had a tragic ending!  Not only is the ice not thick enough to be walked on, but the chemicals, road and turf runoff and other undesirable substances (think geese), is not something you want to splash around in!

Please stay off - and out of - the pond for SAFETY SAKE.
