Change in trash and recycling service

After much deliberation and review, the Board of Directors has made the decision to change trash/recycling providers from Waste Management to Republic Services. There were many factors considered in making this decision including, but not limited to, the following:
- Regardless of which trash removal company chosen, additional bags set outside of the containers were no longer going to be allowed.
- Waste Management increased their rates, imposed recycle and fuel fees, and eliminated additional bags. So, this change will result in a significant cost savings (roughly $36,000) to the HOA.
- The current rate offered by Republic will be held for the first and second year of the five year contract.

Republic Services will be delivering 96 gallon trash and 96 gallon recycle containers to all residents the week of May 24-28 2021. Please leave containers out on your curb until 7pm as this will help the delivery team keep track of deliveries. |
Tuesday, June 1 |
Waste Management will be servicing their last trash and recycle day on Tuesday, due to the Memorial Day holiday. PLEASE LEAVE WASTE MANAGEMENT CONTAINERS OUT FOR PICKUP THIS WEEK. |
Monday, June 7 |
First trash and first recycle collection by Republic Services. |
Monday, June 21 |
Normal every other week recycle collection by Republic Services |
