Food Trucks are back for 2020 with online ordering

ALL ORDERING IS ONLINE AND PICK UP AT THE TRUCK EXCEPT FOR SWEET TRUCKS.

Please read this entire message for important  ordering information.

Beginning Monday, May 11, 2020, there will be 1 or 2 savory trucks and possibly a sweet truck in the Piney Creek WEST TENNIS COURT parking lot.  This will continue every Monday through the summer.

SOCIAL DISTANCING IS MANDATORY - please send only one person from your household to pick up your order and stand at least 6 feet away from other patrons.

No Waiting. No Lines. Just order and pick it up.

  • Ordering and payment is online only (except for the sweet trucks) using either the Truckster app (for some trucks) or a link to the truck’s website.
  • The trucks that will be available, along with a link to their ordering site, will be posted on www.pineycreek.org each week.
  • For trucks that use Truckster - download the Truckster App, hit the magnifying glass at the bottom, type in the truck name, hit on the menu button-done.
  • For trucks that are not listed on Truckster you can go straight to the ordering link.
  • Ordering begins at 5:00 pm and continues until 8:00 pm -  Many patrons order early, so consider ordering later in the servicing timeframe.
  • You can't order until the truck turns the ordering system on.
  • The truck will message you back and tell you when your order will be ready.
  • Then come pick up your food while adhering to social distancing.
Important message from the food truck organizer. Online ordering is a new way of operating for the food trucks and there is a learning curve for the trucks and the community. Trucks are receiving a flood of orders between 5:00-5:30 which immediately puts them behind. Trucks are no longer able to control the line and service. Residents no longer wait, order then wait for food so they are waiting an hour or longer at times for food now due to so many orders at once. People are encouraged to order later and they will get their food 15-30 minutes after they order.

Inclement weather: The HOA representative and Hand to Mouth will discuss inclement weather and will attempt to cancel the event by 2:00 pm, the day of the event. Events will not be canceled due to forecasts. If it is raining upon arrival or begins to rain after the food trucks have arrived, they will wait 30-45 minutes and see if it passes. If the rain doesn't pass then the trucks can choose to leave.

Trucks for each date are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as mechanical breakdown.
