Ting Internet Update 9/20
From Mark Gotto: Ting City Manager
Hello Piney Creek Neighborhood. We are continuing
to move through the Piney Creek subdivisions with
a projected end date of November 1st. It then takes
30 days after construction to supply service. We are
hoping for an early January go live date. Here are
some additional updates I would like to communicate.
Please email me at if you have any
* It is imperative to Ting that no home owner is unaware
of the construction process. We have received feedback
that some homeowners are not getting the door hanger
that let’s them know we will be on their street. We are
re-hanging door hangers where needed. The contractor
has more then the amount needed on stock. Ting will
follow through to ensure door hangers are left before the
contractor works on that street.
* Ting has sent our Phase 3 drawing to the HOA board.
They will show what homes are being constructed next
and where box placements will go. Please contact me
if there are any questions about box placement. We try
and design one box per two homes. In some cases that
is not feasible to make the network operational.
* Every household will receive flags with the door hanger
to mark their sprinklers that are in the right-of-way. This
helps us know exactly where sprinkler heads are before
we work. I have received feedback that flags are not
being distributed in all cases. We will improve on this
for Phase 3 and get homeowners flags to mark their
* We are doing a lot of restoration in Piney Creek. We
are laying sod, fixing sprinklers, and cleaning up our
construction areas. If we could ask a favor. Please water
the new sod at least two times a day. It is getting really
dry and some of the sod will not take if not watered
properly. With that said, we are still doing our very
best to restore the property back to its original state.
We also prefer you give us the opportunity fix sprinkler
issues before you hire your own landscaper. We will pay
invoices but the reimbursement process can take longer
then just us fixing ourselves. You cooperation is so
much appreciated.
