6/20/19 Hail Storm

Our community had a severe hail event yesterday that may have caused damaged to your property.   As we all work through trying to make repairs to property please note the following items related to the storm:

  • All exterior repairs, short of fence stain require ACC approval. This includes roofs, skylights, gutters, and paint.
  • Roof Replacement.  If you are going to be replacing your roof please remember that you are required to submit an architectural request form.  The Association has roofing standards that are available on the Piney Creek website at www.pineycreek.org under Architectural Review.  There are NO pre-approved roofing products.   The Architectural Committee will do its best to expedite requests so as to not delay any of repairs.
  • The Piney Creek Recreation Association also incurred damage.  The Association is estimating a loss of about 80% of the pool chaise lounges.  The Association is ordering the chaise lounges, however, there will be a shortage of pool furniture until they arrive.  We anticipate that could take 4 weeks.  The awnings were also damaged on the clubhouse building so those will have to be removed for repair.  The Association also incurred a broken skylight on the pool deck.  Please know that these repairs will be made as quickly as possible in order to restore our pool area.

When storms of this nature occur there are many predatory companies that knock on your door.  Please remember to do your due diligence when determining a contractor to make repairs to your home.  Piney Creek does not endorse any contractors.


We appreciate your cooperation in these matters.  If you have any additional damage that you are going to need to repair and are unsure whether an architectural request is required please contact your Onsite Community Manager, Christine, at 303-699-8069.  Please anticipate having to submit a request form for any repairs with the exception of fence stain.
