2nd Lap Lane at Pool
Dear Residents,

The Board of Directors received feedback from several community members regarding the Safety Breaks that were implemented this year which requires the pool be cleared every other hour.  One of the concerns brought forth was lap swimming and without a specific set aside time for lap swimming  the Association was notified the lap lane was becoming overcrowded.  In order to accommodate the needs of our residents, there will be a 2nd lap lane in place between the hours of 11:00 am-1:00 pm Monday – Friday and then 9:00 am – 11:00 am on Saturday and Sunday.  Outside of the specified hours the one standard lap lane will be available to lap swimmers.  Please remember that the lap lanes are for lap swimming only.

Thank you.

We Have a New Name!
Piney Creek Women’s league has served the community for many years offering a wide variety of clubs and activities for women and families. Yet the League recognizes the need to expand and grow to be more inclusive for all residents. With that goal in mind, we have changed our name to Piney Creek Community League.  Annual dues is $15.00 per member.

We welcome your ideas on how to promote community and fellowship. Contact any PCCL board member.

Thinking About a New Roof?
The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) would like to remind residents that ALL NEW ROOFS MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO INSTALLATION and must use material approved by the ACC. Installation of material not approved by the ACC will result in a demand to reroof with approved material and may result in legal action.

Architectural Control
Reminder – ACC Approval Required
All exterior alterations and improvements to your home and landscape require approval from the Architectural Control Committee. Please get approval before painting your home, staining your fence, or replacing your roof.

ACC Reminder – Painting Your Home
When you paint your home, including using the same colors, you must submit an ACC application, including all paint colors covering; base, trim, roof-line, accent (front door, shutters) and garage doors.

Garage doors shall be painted the base color of the home.  In rare instances the ACC will look at trim color for the garage door, but it must look appropriate to the home.

Need Help Choosing Paint Colors?
The ACC worked with a local paint supplier to put together suggested paint colors that we feel are a good match for Piney Creek.  These books can be checked out at the club house with the community manager.  We’ve had a lot of wonderful comments from residents who did not know where to start to pick colors and have ended up with some gorgeous homes!

Please take advantage of this community benefit.  Don’t be afraid to request an ACC committee member come to your home to help if you need another opinion or guidance.

Approvable Roofing Material
The Architectural Control Committee has adopted, and the Board of Directors has ratified a change to the Architectural Guidelines to include a list of approvable roofing material for each filing. Click here for more information.
