Lifeguard Opportunites
The pool contractor for Piney Creek is in the final stages of hiring lifeguards for swimming pools in our area. You must be at least 15 years old and complete lifeguard training and CPR classes.  Training information is available through Perfect Pools.  You can apply on line at www.Perfectpoolscolorado.com or you can call 303-795-1191 for more information.

Swimming Pool Opens May 26th
Our community pool opens for use by members of the Recreational Association on Saturday, May 26, at 10am.  Ice cream treats will be provided while the supply lasts. A new hot dog concessionaire will be on site for the season. Come and enjoy the expanded pergola.

Tennis Court Access
  Attention Tennis Players
Effective immediately access to the tennis courts is by the key card issued to Recreational Association members for access to the swimming pool and clubhouse. Upgrades to the access control system added card readers and new locks to the tennis court gates. The metal keys no longer work. If you do not have a key card please see Jeff Cottle, the on-site manager at the clubhouse office.

Amended Declaration Moving Forward
A Petition for Court Approval of Proposed Amended and Restated Declaration has been filed in the Arapahoe District Court. This is the final step in the long effort to update our Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for the Piney Creek Maintenance Association.

Activity Around the Clubhouse and Tennis Courts
April 30. You may have noticed many workers in the clubhouse area in April. Several projects are underway or have been completed.

The pergola which previously covered the north half of the pool deck has been expanded to cover the entire length of the deck. The TREX decking failed prematurely and is being replaced under a warranty claim. Removal of the old TREX revealed that the supporting structure of the deck is in poor condition and must be replaced. Replacement with new pressure treated lumber has started this week. Lastly, the new deck will include a handicap access ramp that complies with standards under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The key card access system has been expanded to the tennis courts.  Tennis players now must use their key cards to access the courts. The upgrades also allow the lights to be turned off when exiting the courts at night.

Along with the changes to the access control system, security cameras have been installed around the clubhouse. Perpetrators of late night mischief in the pool area may find their picture disseminated for identification.

Suggested Roofing Material
The Architectural Control Committee has adopted, and the Board of Directors has ratified a change to the Architectural Guidelines to include a list of suggested roofing material. Click here for more information.
